Hand Bent Glass Neon, 29 x 25.5 x 31”, 2025

Considering the forms that exist within our homes, this is a design-forward chair I built, flanked on either side with neon. Titled Light Chair #1, it’s the start of an ongoing exploration of chairs that incorporate neon.

This piece was designed and made by Chloe Kottwitz and was exhibited in her solo exhibition, Surroundings, at The Black Iris in Richmond,Va from September 5, 2025-September 28th, 2025.
