Hand Bent Glass Neon on Wood, 18 x 22 x 17”, 2025

These are fully functional mini basketball hoops, each outfitted with a French cleat for hanging on the wall. Each comes with a mini basketball and air pump.

They’re a good example of my hand in the work. I had been sketching hoops for a while, and though I sometimes design digitally, these were drawn directly onto bending paper and followed through in glass.

This piece was designed and made by Chloe Kottwitz and was exhibited in her solo exhibition, Surroundings, at The Black Iris in Richmond,Va from September 5, 2025-September 28th, 2025.
