Hand Bent Glass Neon flowers, 10 x 20 x 5”, 2025

This posy of neon flowers may have been my favorite to make. While bending the glass, I envisioned two layers so nothing would need to be painted out. The icy blue shadow dancing behind the flowers adds dimension with a subtle body.

This piece was designed and made by Chloe Kottwitz and was exhibited in her solo exhibition, Surroundings, at The Black Iris in Richmond,Va from September 5, 2025-September 28th, 2025.
